I love the variety present with opals. This pendant is an Australian black opal, which appears more blue that black. I set it in a heavy 18 Karat Gold bezel with a sterling silver backplate. It looks amazing on both a sterling silver chain and on an 18K chain.
The earrings are tiny Australian opals set in 18 Karat gold with 3 mm faceted champagne diamonds. They are small but lovely, and the gold really sets off the fire in the opals.
